I approach my work with empathy and a deep passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. My goal is to help you enhance your sense of well-being and navigate life’s challenges with resilience and purpose. I understand that coming to therapy can feel overwhelming, and I commend your courage in taking this important step toward positive change. In my counselling, I strive to provide a safe and empowering space where you can explore your struggles without fear of judgment. My experience working on a paediatric oncology and hematology ward, supporting clients facing complex health challenges, has enriched my ability to handle difficult issues with patience and compassion. This work has shaped my therapeutic approach and deepened my commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals. My own experiences as a parent have also inspired my passion for helping mothers and women enhance their psychological well-being.I work with individuals and couples affected by trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief and loss, and relationship difficulties. In our sessions, you can expect a client-centered, collaborative approach grounded in the strength of the therapeutic relationship. My advanced training and certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), along with specialized training in Prolonged Exposure (PE), provide a strong foundation for helping clients heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. To support diverse clinical needs, I draw from a range of other evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. Additionally, I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy to support my work with couples.I am committed to supporting you in developing insight, building inner resources, and acquiring new skills so you can navigate life’s challenges more effectively. Together, we will explore your unique path to well-being and work toward improving your overall quality of life. I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you embark on your journey of exploration, healing, and growth.
