Dr. Rosemary Rukavina (she/her) is a Registered Psychologist with a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and a Master of Counselling degree. With over 10 years of experience, she has worked across a range of public and private healthcare settings, including corrections, child and youth mental health, and family services. Dr. Rukavina also teaches in graduate programs in clinical psychology and counselling.

Dr. Rukavina’s focus is on building trusting, supportive therapeutic relationships, where clients feel respected and hopeful about their healing. Her goal is to help clients heal from trauma and achieve lasting personal growth.

She offers in-person and virtual therapy sessions, welcoming individuals of all ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, cultural backgrounds, and spiritual beliefs. Dr. Rukavina specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

Dr. Rukavina namely uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and also integrates psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, systemic, and Adlerian approaches, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. She offers EMDR intensives for clients seeking faster results with minimal disruption to their lives.
