EMDR Basic Training Membership

My practice is centred on EMDR therapy with a particular focus on attachment-based work. I support adults and adolescents/teens in addressing attachment wounds, childhood and developmental trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD, and experiences that have contributed to deeply held negative core beliefs about self, safety, and relationships. I frequently work with clients experiencing low mood, anger, social anxiety, panic attacks and phobias, medical trauma, difficult or traumatic life events, low self-worth, and uncertainty about their identity. I hold EMDR as a collaborative process, co-creating an approach that aligns with your goals while integrating my clinical experience and meeting you where you are, right now, in your healing journey. Significant attention is given to resourcing, grounding, and building internal capacity before and throughout reprocessing. I integrate mindfulness, parts-informed perspectives, and relational attunement to ensure the work feels supportive, respectful, and responsive to your readiness and lived experience. As a clinician and a busy parent with a background in education, I hold deep respect for the resilience people bring into therapy, often while carrying long-standing emotional burdens. EMDR offers a way to make sense of these experiences and to support lasting change without requiring clients to relive or retell every detail of the past. Please know, you are welcome – just as you are.
