Hi! I’m Annamarie,I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. My background in linguistics, psychology, neurofeedback, and hypnosis has shaped my deep passion for harnessing brain plasticity and our innate ability to heal. I believe in the profound connection between mind, body, and emotions, and I approach wellness holistically—helping clients reset their nervous system, train their brain, move past obstacles, foster emotional connections, cultivate safety, develop skills, listen to their body, express and explore creatively, and get to know their innermost parts.Using a client-centered, mind-body approach, I provide a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their challenges and strengths. Together, we set meaningful goals and envision a hopeful future. I integrate a range of evidence-based techniques, allowing clients to choose the therapeutic style that resonates most with them. My mission is to walk with clients as they uncover resilience, and to help them tap into their primal healing abilities.Outside the Therapy RoomBeyond my work, I embrace my introverted, adventurous spirit by camping, hiking, solo-traveling, and surfing. I also find joy in creativity—whether through drawing, singing, or getting lost in the pages of fantasy fiction.Services Annamarie offersI use an integrative, mind-body-emotions approach, drawing from both non-verbal and talk-based modalities including:HypnotherapyNeurofeedbackEye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)Oldpain2go & Chronic Pain ReliefParts TherapyPolyvagal TheoryMindfulness & Guided ImagerySomatic TherapySolution-Focused TherapyAreas of FocusI support individuals navigating a range of concerns, including:Anxiety, Stress & DepressionMood ProblemsConfidence, Motivation & Self-compassionPhobias & FearsWeight ManagementCravings and AddictionsLifestyle ChangesPTSD & TraumaChronic PainIBSBrain Fog & Traumatic Brain Injury
