EMDR Basic Training
Are you feeling stuck, lacking motivation, or fatigued? Perhaps you feel irritable or anxious at work or with your relationships. Therapy can help you discover new ways to manage and cope with your symptoms while working to resolve trauma. It can be challenging to seek out therapy, and I commend you on taking the first step. I work with individuals who are experiencing difficulties related to their past and/or recent traumatic experiences. I have experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, work-related stress, BPD, family & relationship issues, and issues related to self-esteem.
I work from an EMDR therapy and attachment focused perspectives which often includes other evidence-based therapies such as: CBT, DBT, EFT and Ego-State therapy. I also work with First Responders who often seek my services to engage in early mental health interventions, manage Operational Stress Injury/PTSD, and/or moral injury.
I offer individual video appointments across Ontario and in-person in Oshawa. If you have already started your healing journey, I welcome the opportunity to collaborate. My hope is to support you in gaining further insight into the factors that have contributed to your difficulties and share skills that can improve your overall health and wellbeing.
