EMDR Training:
Dr. Kelly Penner Hutton is an enthusiastic instructor who believes in the power of EMDR Therapy. At the Elevate EMDR Academy I provide consultation to trained EMDR therapists and provide EMDR Therapy training. Passing on the knowledge to therapists and creating community are important to Kelly. She genuinely wants to support you as you learn. Her training was developed to provide the core concepts, learning through repetition, and strong foundational skills.
EMDR Consultation:
Consultation extends your knowledge from basic training, provides continued support, and sharpens your EMDR skills. Our consultation program was developed with support in mind for EMDR trained therapists who want to become EMDR Certified Therapists and take their skills to the next level. As you embark on your EMDR journey, our team would be honoured to accompany and support you.
EMDR community: It is very important to feel connected to peers, have a sense of belonging, and have people who can support you. Our community meets regularly to provide you with support, learn with each other, and stay true to the EMDR protocol utilizing a peer-support model. We are together in our EMDR journey and bringing our best skills and compassion to our clients. Without support and boosting ourselves, it is challenging to be present and help our clients. The community is open to anyone who has taken training or consultation with Dr. Kelly Penner Hutton.

At Peace of Mind Therapy and Consultation my vision was to create a therapeutic clinic that feels like a home – a place you can kick up your feet, relax, and feel safe. We have created an amazing therapy team that is dedicated to supporting our community members. We currently have a team of about 20 therapists, 10 of which are trained in EMDR Therapy. I am currently focused on providing group therapy services for clients and not individual therapy (but we have team members who can provide individual therapy services).
EMDR Therapy has been an amazing addition to my therapeutic toolbox. I love the versatility of EMDR Therapy and how welcoming it is to other therapeutic modalities.
