EMDR Basic Training
Self employed
Mélodie has been a social worker since acquiring her bachelor’s degree from the University of Ottawa in 2012. Since then, she has gained diverse experience working with a variety of groups, young and old; starting out in the social development department and later moving into mental health-related services. In 2019, she graduated from Dalhousie University with a Master’s degree in Social Work. In addition to being a dedicated individual, Mélodie’s open-mindedness and adaptability mean that she seeks out the best possible tools to support you, and bases her interventions on best practices.
Thanks to her background, she’s well equipped to work with a wide range of mental health issues, and can help you through difficult situations and life stages. Finally, working with young people and their families is also part of her field of interest.
Mélodie would say she has a colorful life path, colored by her experiences, encounters and international travels. Mother of two wonderful children, what defines her is her down-to-earth personality, her authenticity, her approachability and her concern for the well-being of the people she meets.
