EMDR Basic Training
Jude Marleau & Associates Counselling Inc.
Over the last thirty-five years, I have had the privilege of witnessing the healing journeys of many people who have been re-discovering their inner strength and resilience. In addition to my private counselling practice, I have worked as a Counsellor for the Victoria Women’s Transition House, the Victoria Family Violence Project and the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre. I developed a counselling service designed for women who use violence in their intimate relationships.
I currently work as a Clinical Supervisor and the Counsellor Trainer for the Victoria Citizens’ Counselling Centre. I am an Associate Faculty member with City University in the Master of Counselling Program.
My private counselling practice focuses on helping people heal from the effects of relational trauma and PTSD. I specialize in helping people whose trauma occurred because of historical and recent sexualized violence, intimate relationship abuse (including same sex abuse and women’s use of violence) as well as helping people heal from family of origin issues and dynamics.
I support people who are struggling with and/or exploring sexual issues, sexuality and sexual orientation, gender diversity and expressions, self- esteem, and boundaries within relationships. I enjoy my work with trans-identified, gender diverse and gender creative adults and children and parents of transgender and gender creative children.
I offer counselling and psychotherapy services for

• Couples
• Groups
