Dr. Anne Omoniyi Bello is a Psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker in good standing. She has an Honors Bachelor of Social Work and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She completed her Ph.D. in Social Work with a specialization in Family Intervention at Walden University, Minnesota.
She is certified in trauma-informed practice and awareness at various levels. She is a Certified Edu-Therapist Specialist for grief and loss. In addition, she is a Certified Positive Psychology Practitioner (CPPP) and Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has extensive training and experience working with diverse populations and groups in mental health, aging and spirituality, grief and loss, and individual, couples, group, and family counselling. Anne’s greatest passion is psychotherapy, spirituality, health, healing, and recovery.
As a Psychotherapist and Social worker, she finds pleasure in watching the healing and recovery process of clients who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience but remain resilient and can find healthy perceptions, inner strength, and solutions. She believes that respecting the rights and protecting clients’ dignity during the healing and recovery journey is one of the antidotes to promoting optimal health and quality of life.
