Ashley is a Therapist and Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW) with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW). As a therapist and Master level social worker, Ashley provides assessment and therapeutic interventions much in the same way as psychologists and psychotherapists do. She describes herself as a humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment-based practitioner who holds sacred the influences of the past on the present-day. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered, relational, trauma-informed, and spiritually-integrated, recognizing that humans belong to and live within numerous complex systems that influence their overall health and well-being. Ashley is passionate about supporting clients as they navigate the gentle unravelling of thoughts, feelings, and beliefs born out of past wounding. She pays special attention to the ways in which family of origin, early relationships, and adverse or traumatic events impact an individual’s ability to be in relationship with the Self and with others. Incorporating elements from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including attachment theory, CBT, mindfulness practices, nervous system work, parts work, and EMDR, Ashley’s hope for her clients is that they will be free to step into their gifts and begin to live authentically and in alignment with their true Self.
