Barbara Horne

EMDR Trainer

Niagara Stress & Trauma Clinic

Barbara is a founding partner of the Niagara Stress & Trauma Clinic, providing couples therapy and EMDR therapy since 1996 when she did her Institute trainings. She is the director of the NSTC’s EMDRIA-Approved Basic EMDR Therapy Training Programs, conducting over 75 two-part basic trainings in central and eastern Canada since 2007. The pandemic necessitated a pivot to doing virtual basic trainings which went very well, with the result that she continues to offer virtual programs as well as returning to the in-person format in Toronto and Niagara. Barbara has made presentations on EMDR to provincial and national conferences, as well as to the EMDR International Association conferences. She is also an EMDRIA-Approved CE-credit provider, offering workshops on Polyvagal Theory & EMDR in recent years. More recently she has added Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) to her clinical repertoire, with training, consultation & study since early 2022.
