I am a registered Master of Social Work (MSW) Counsellor and Certified Expressive Art Therapist (EXAT) as well as EMDR Certified Counsellor and EMDRIA Approved Consultant in NWO.
I?m a clinical social worker and trauma therapist with extensive experience in helping clients of all ages who are struggling with the symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and attachment challenges. Together, I will help you learn new ways of responding, connecting, and interacting with your child or teen ? all the while maintaining the structure, consistency and predictability that help growing minds flourish. They then, become the best versions of themselves.
I consider myself to be an integrative EMDR Therapist, that tailors the therapeutic journey to the needs of each unique client. I have extensive training and experience using EMDR with children, youth, and adults under the supervision and EMDR Trainer of Jillian Hosey, MSW, RSW, Author, Lecturer, and Researcher in EMDR (Canada and US based)
Additionally, I am EMDR Certified and an EMDRIA approved consultant. I also am a facilitator for AGATE Institute for basic training in EMDR as well asa facilitator for Ana Gomez’s intensives for children ? Ana Gomez (USA), Author, international lecturer and teacher and EMDR child expert.
