Psychology Matters
Daniela is a Registered Social Worker with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. She approaches therapy first and foremost as a fellow human, bringing empathy, compassion, and warmth to each connection. She sees it as a true privilege to walk alongside people on their personal journeys—honoured to be welcomed into their stories and to hold space for all they choose to share.Daniela creates a supportive space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace, uncover their strengths, and move toward greater well-being. Drawing from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), she tailors each session to the individual, supporting people through grief and bereavement, anxiety, depression, relationship changes, identity exploration, trauma, and life transitions. She works with individuals from age 12 through older adulthood, welcoming clients from all walks of life with openness and respect for the courage it takes to begin this work.Education/Professional Training/Professional Associations:• Master of Social Work from Lakehead University• Honours Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University• Bachelor of Health Studies spec.
