Davy Hutton has an MSc. in Psychological Trauma Management and a Post Graduate qualification in Clinical Supervision. He?s also taught on degree level courses on Clinical Supervision. He?s been an Accredited Consultant Psychotherapist for over a decade and is an International and National Conference presenter. He also has been/is a Board Member for several Counselling organisations for fifteen years. He is a British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Senior Accredited Supervisor and Psychotherapist, which puts him in a cohort of less than 3.5% of BACP 45,000 members.
Some of the positional roles he has held are Director, Board Member, Clinical Sub-Group Lead, Clinical Director, Director of Counselling and Trauma Lead. He has over 17,000 hrs supervised clinical experience of working with clients presenting with the following issues, Complex PTSD; clerical/sexual/physical/emotional abuse including clients groomed into satanic cults. He has nearly twenty years? experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams of psychotherapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
He has taught National organisations how to work with complex clinical presentations safely, ethically, and effectively. Davy is also sought out by NHS Adult/Child and Adolescent Mental Health Teams to ameliorate the distress for their patients. He has been a Board MEMber for various Counselling organisations for over 15yrs. He relaxes by painting watercolours and enjoying his garden.
