Dawn Zivanovich

EMDR Consultant

DAWN ASSOCIATES

I am Dawn Zivanovich, the founder of DAWN Associates, a Registered Social Worker, Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant, I am a lifelong learner who was certified as a coach and my mission is to help people find solultions through therapy and deeper understanding. At DAWN Associates most of the work we do is related to some form of trauma, either incident related or a pattern of distressing, disturbing events.

I focus on EMDR Therapy as part of a comprehensive treatment plan which can include mindfulness, meditation as well as emotional regulation resources.

EMDR has been shown to be effective and in helping clients to find their own healing pathway. It is a deeper more intensive type of desensitization treatment that yields significant results and prognoses for improvement from a variety of mental health issues.

My clients include adults suffering from PTSD, C-PTSD and dissociative disorders along with other mental health concerns. I am registered with NIHB and WISB as a service provider and provide service to first responders and others suffering from workplace burnout, depression, anxiety and substance abuse disorders.

I have been an EMDRIA Approved Consultant since 2017 and my work includes consulting with EMDR Therapists working towards certification, with EMDR Therapists around clinical case consultation as well as with Certified EMDR Therapists wishing to become EMDR Consultants.

My experience and work in the private practice sector spans 30 plus years with much learning and skill building along the way.
