EMDR Basic Training

Guided Path Counselling Group

Throughout my social work journey, I have worked with individuals in a variety of settings, including correctional centers, outpatient mental health clinics, community crisis, and inpatient psychiatry. I practice from a non-judgmental and empathetic counselling framework in which all of us have the capacity to change and grow, no matter our background or past trauma. Currently, I hold certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and EMDR (including advanced training in the Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol). I am also in the process of advancing my training in Somatic Experiencing. I believe we are shaped by adverse life experiences because of the imprints they can leave on our bodies and minds. I have seen how fostering a safe and supportive therapy environment can help people change and grow. I look forward to connecting with new individuals and walking alongside them as they heal.
