I graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1989 and from Acadia University with a Master of Education (Counselling) in 2005. I am a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia, the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. I am elected member and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists.
Originally from the North End of Halifax, I have primarily lived and worked in Dartmouth and Cole Harbour for the last 25 years. Raising my children through the schools, sports and other community activities I have learned so much about my communities I love and value pets and plants in my life.
I believe wholeheartedly that my role as a therapist is to walk with my clients through their journey.
