I am an EMDR Certified Therapist and I have been working in the field of intimate partner violence for over 12 years. Many of the clients I serve have histories of complex relational trauma including family of origin abuse, neglect, and attachment injury, as well as histories of intimate partner violence. EMDR Therapy and the adaptive information processing model is the modality and framework with which I work with clients while also being an integrative therapist incorporating modalities and practices related to attachment, dissociation, and neuroscience. I currently work for a non-profit community based agency and work with many individuals with socioeconomic challenges.
I am a proud member of EMDR Canada and EMDRIA, and I am passionate about ongoing professional development to best meet the needs of those I work with.
