A Registered Psychologist with 18 years of experience and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Jake’s practice supports most general mental health concerns, with a focus on trauma, PTSD, and workplace health issues. He is trained in EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, and Cognitive Processing Therapies, and has provided psychological assessment for recruitment candidates in law enforcement, and in safety-sensitive contexts for over 15 years; along with counselling and treatment to first responders, construction trades members, primary care patients, and the general public. He is also an Associate Academic Colleague of Educational Psychology at the U of A, has provided clinical supervision to registering psychologists at the University of Alberta CPA-Accredited Residency Program, and to graduate students at the University of Alberta. Manager of Alberta Clinical Services, and National Alcohol & Drug Assessment Program for a national Employee and Family Assistance company

Member of the Construction Labour Relations alcohol and drug policy development program, and the Alberta Addictions & Mental Health workplace alcohol and drug research committee.
