Janine has a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from the Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She has been a counselling therapist in both the public and private spheres for over 15 years. Janine has been using EMDR for over 3 years and is currently working toward certification.
Janine works with first responders and members of the military, as well as with members of the general public who have symptoms of trauma and complex trauma. She also engages with clients who are dealing with the after-effects of medical trauma and is a cancer survivor herself. Janine is warm, genuine and knowledgable, and believes strongly in the ability of all humans to heal and grow.
