Full Potential Therapy

I specialize in providing therapy for adults who have experienced adverse childhood experiences, including growing up with emotionally unavailable, addicted, or highly stressed caregivers. These early environments can significantly impact identity development, self-confidence, and the ability to set healthy boundaries or foster close, intimate relationships. My work focuses on understanding how these early experiences shape an individual’s current psychology, behavior patterns, and relational dynamics.
To address the deep influence of childhood adversity, I guide clients in getting to know all parts of themselves using evidence-based approaches such as Ego State Therapy and Clinical Hypnosis. These modalities allow us to explore both conscious and unconscious aspects of the self, identifying patterns that may contribute to self-sabotage and struggles with anxiety and depression.
Many of these internal dynamics originate from the dysfunctional relationships formed during critical stages of early childhood development. By understanding and integrating these parts of the self, clients can rewire old patterns and create lasting change.
My career began as a therapist working with children from multi-stressed families, where I supported caregivers in attuning to their children’s attachment needs despite difficult circumstances. This early experience profoundly shaped my understanding of attachment theory and developmental psychology, informing the work I do today with adults.
I help clients re-parent themselves, offering tools to fill the developmental gaps left by early challenges. This process of self-compassion and re-parenting enables individuals to meet their emotional needs in adulthood, transforming feelings of inadequacy into self-worth and security.
I also use EMDR therapy to process and release past trauma, whether it stems from childhood adversity, a significant relationship loss, or a career setback. By addressing how the past impacts the present, we create space for healing and adaptation. This work helps clients shift core beliefs about themselves—building an understanding that they are worthy, not responsible for others’ emotions, in control of their own lives, and safe in the present.
In addition to my work with adults, I have over seven years of specialized experience supporting adolescents who have endured trauma. I’ve helped teens navigate the aftermath of bullying, family disruptions, the death of loved ones, the loss of friendships, and the lingering effects of isolation during COVID-19. My approach with adolescents is rooted in creating a safe, supportive space where they can process difficult emotions and rebuild resilience.
I understand how challenging it can be to find a therapist who feels like the right fit. I prioritize building a genuine connection with my clients, ensuring they feel deeply known and understood. With a collaborative approach, I provide psychoeducation about therapeutic techniques like EMDR, Hypnosis, and Ego State Therapy, so clients can actively participate in their healing journey. Together, we create a plan tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Engaging in this work can have a transformative effect on one’s life. By exploring and healing the past, clients can step into a future defined by self-worth, agency, and fulfilling relationships.
