Do you find yourself acting in ways that don’t fit your values or beliefs or responding to situations in ways that seem irrational to you? Sometimes this is due to unresolved past issues and sometimes it is due to habits developed in previous life situations that are no longer useful but have not yet been changed. I can help you to get your heart and mind on the same page in order to move forward with your life goals. If trauma, depression, anxiety or chronic pain are in the way, I can provide tools to manage these and therapy to help heal the roots of these. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Ego State therapy, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy (also using creative writing) and attachment theory. I offer regular one hour session and intensives (1-4 days) and work from a client centred, anti-oppressive, sex positive, feminist perspective to address symptoms, and behavioural patterns.
I tailor my approach based on the needs, goals and preferences of each client to ensure the best fit and support for each person. Reaching out for support and resources to address symptoms and patterns that cause trouble in your life is a fantastic step that can provide the possibility of relief and changes that you have the right to experience.
