Katie is a Registered Psychotherapist based in Magnetawan, thoughshe grew up in Mississauga and spent over a decade living in theNiagara Region. Prior to opening her private practice, she worked forseveral years in the public sector, particularly in primary care. She has experience working with teens, adults, and couples andincorporates a variety of counselling methodologies in treatmentincluding Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems(IFS), and talk therapy.Katie is an EMDR trained clinician and works with individuals to processtrauma. She recently received certification in Perinatal Mental Healththrough Posdtpartum Support International. She is also currentlyworking towards a certificate in Child and Youth Mental Health throughWilfred Laurier University and her Level II CBT certificate.
