I am a Doctoral level clinical psychologist. My academic credentials include M. A. in Psychology with specialization in Counselling & Guidance; M.Phil. in Medical & Social Psychology and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Since my training I have worked in the United Arab Emirates, UK, British Columbia and here in the northern Alberta since 2007.
I did my EMDR level I & II training in 1997 & 1998 respectively while working in the NHS in the UK. Since then, I have continuously enhanced my EMDR skills by attending several courses for working with children and adults. I have been using EMDR in my work with children and occasionally, when appropriate, with parents. I also have training and experience in a number of other modalities including CBT, DBT, EFT, EFIT, IFS and Attachment Based Family therapy.
