Maribel Ayala Psychotherapy and Consulting

Hello and thank you for viewing my profile.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist, based in London, Ontario, with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. My dedication to advanced psychotherapy training allows me to provide enhanced support to my clients.

I specialize in PTSD/trauma recovery, anxiety, grief/loss, and relationship management. My approach is rooted in utilizing specialized therapeutic techniques such as EMDR, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Deep Brain Reorienting, Brainspotting, and evidence based talk therapies to guide individuals and couples towards living their best lives.

My therapeutic style focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can deeply explore their emotions and past experiences while developing effective coping strategies.

I am experienced in working with adults from diverse backgrounds, including first responders, veterans, and First Nations clients. Additionally, I provide individual and group consultations for clinicians who have completed an EMDRIA-approved Basic EMDR training.
I have been assisting with an EMDRIA-approved Basic training for the last two years, which has allowed me to gain invaluable experience in this therapeutic modality.

If you are a professional looking for group consultations, please contact me to inquire about the 2025 group consultation offerings.
