A Calm Place Counselling

I am a mother, wife, animal lover, and helping professional. I am lucky to reside in the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley in Saskatchewan. My greatest joys are being with my family, spending time outside, and snuggling my animals. I am thankful to have been able to support adults, children, youth and their families, for the past 19 years. Currently I am providing private counselling both in person and virtually. I am currently offering care to adults and youth. My experience includes individual counselling to adults, youth and their families around various mental health issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation and psychosis. I have also provided group facilitation regarding parenting, anxiety and depression. Most recently my focus has been on using EMDR with a IFS informed approach. Since taking the EMDR training I believe I have found my niche. I strongly believe in this approach to helping individuals who are held back in experiencing life due to past traumas, anxiety, depression or other mood disorders.
