Mindful Connections Therapy

You don’t have to keep living as though the difficult experience is still happening. Whether you’re carrying the effects of childhood trauma, a recent traumatic event, a brain injury, a motor vehicle accident, or years of feeling overwhelmed by ADHD, therapy can help you move beyond survival mode and reconnect with yourself. I specialize in working with adults experiencing childhood trauma, PTSD and complex trauma, brain injury, motor vehicle accident recovery, and ADHD. My approach integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other evidence-based therapies to help you process difficult experiences, reduce distress, and create lasting change at a pace that feels safe. One of the benefits of EMDR is that many people are able to process traumatic experiences without having to talk through every detail. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Rehabilitation Support Worker supporting individuals recovering from brain injuries. That experience deepened my understanding of the emotional, cognitive, and practical challenges that often follow neurological injury and trauma. My goal is to provide a calm, collaborative space where you feel understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (#17942) and the founder of Mindful Connections Therapy in North York, offering in-person and virtual psychotherapy services across Ontario.
