Bien-Être Lotus Wellness

Native of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Nicole obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2000 and her master’s in arts (psychology) in 2005 from the Université de Moncton. Her clinical internship was completed at the Bathurst Community Mental Health Center. During the course of her studies and thereafter, she became specialized in neuropsychology and this, through a clinical internship in neuropsychology at the Hôpital Broca in Paris, France, her master’s thesis, research, continued education courses, and supervised work.

Since the beginning of her career, she has worked for many organizations, including a research centre in neurosciences in Toronto, ON, a national employee assistance program in Markham, ON, the Campbellton Community Mental Health Clinic, and the anglophone School District of Bathurst. She has also worked at the Chaleur Regional Hospital of Bathurst for nine years. She has been in private practice since January 2017 and worked with Nepisiguit Family Services and Peninsula Family Services until November 2017. She then decided to open her own clinic, Mind-Body Solutions.

Nicole is presently the owner of Lotus Wellness, which opened its doors in February 2021. Her primary goal is to bring to the community a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to wellness, taking into consideration all aspects of the person. Her approach is mainly cognitive-behavioral, including schema therapy, but also eclectic. A few years ago, she developed an interest in mindfulness and meditation, as well as the relationship between mind and body, which she has incorporated in her approach. In November 2019, she received training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
