Sheena McRae is a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in attachment and relational trauma, Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents, and unhealthy or high-conflict relationship patterns. She works primarily with women who understand their patterns intellectually but still find themselves repeating them through people-pleasing, over-explaining, self-doubt, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling responsible for other people’s emotions.Using EMDR, attachment-focused therapy, and nervous system-informed approaches, Sheena helps clients explore how earlier relational experiences may still be shaping the way they feel, react, and relate today. She is also trained and certified in Dr. Lindsay Gibson’s Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents (ACEIP) model.Sheena also supports first responders experiencing PTSD, cumulative stress, and trauma. Her approach is warm, grounded, and practical, helping clients move beyond simply understanding their patterns toward creating meaningful change.
