Biography: Suzanne Zook-Johnston, RP, DMFT

Suzanne Zook-Johnston is a Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario, Clinical Supervisor and Adjunct Professor with over 23 years of experience in the field of mental health. Suzanne’s greatest passions are educating and treating mental health challenges, dedicating years of service to the Niagara community, Brock University and Niagara University.
Suzanne holds a doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and has published an international research outcome study in a global couple therapy approach called Relational Life Therapy (RLT) developed by Terry Real. Suzanne presented her research at the Transnational Education and Learning Society (TELS) annual conference in 2014 and at the American Institute in Cairo, Egypt graduate studies program within the Department of Psychology in 2021.
Suzanne is the Clinical Director of the Niagara Relationship Health Centre and is known to be a compassionate, skillful, dedicated professional who understands life’s challenges. Suzanne takes pride and joy in empowering her clients and supervisees to achieve their desired outcomes, break through barriers, and build skills for lasting change.
Suzanne has been counselling individuals, couples and families for more 23 years and is highly skilled in psychotherapy treatment modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy (BSFT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Relational Life Therapy (RLT) and Gestalt Therapy.
