I am the owner and operator of Stoney Creek Counselling. I hold a Masters of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University (2003) and have been a practising clinical social worker for over 20 years. My specialty is working with people diagnosed with mental illness through my work at St. Joseph?s Healthcare Hamilton and I have a special interest in working with anxiety. I have completed additional training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Psychosis, addiction case work, Mindfulness training, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Narrative Therapy and recently finished my first basic training course in EMDR. I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. In addition I hold a membership with the North American CBT for Psychosis Society.
