Hello, I am Tara Marshall I have been working with at-risk children, youth and families in the healthcare field for over 25 years in Vancouver, BC. I have a BA in Child & Youth Care and a MA in Counselling Psychology. I am a Synergetic Play Therapist and an Approved EMDR Consultant and Credit Provider.
I opened my EMDR practice Kindred Counselling in 2015 as a Registered Clinical Counsellor and now have four EMDR Therapist Associates with the practice.
We offer EMDR therapy for people of all ages,.
We also offer EMDR Intensives which is an accelerated form of EMDR that is done in chunks of hours over a short period of time. This format has been growing in popularity recently.
I am no longer accepting clients for weekly therapy however I have four EMDR Therapists who I mentor and who are accepting weekly clients. I currently offer sessions in the EMDR Intensive format for individual adults who are interested in overcoming the impacts of trauma using EMDR. I am a very experienced and specialized EMDR Therapist and LOVE facilitating in the Intensive format. I am very motivated to help people who are ready to change and move forward in their life. For Professionals: I offer consultation for therapists looking to certify or for general consultation. I also specialize in consultation for EMDR therapists working with children & youth. I do from time to time offer consultation groups if I get enough interest for a 4-person group.
I also have an online EMDR store (kindred-counselling.com) with downloadable resources EMDRIA approved courses for CE credits or EMDR therapists who work with children & youth.
