EMDR Certified Therapist
Marlene Jackson has been a member of the Saskatchewan Health Authority Palliative Care Team in Regina since 1994. She has been in the role of Bereavement Coordinator, providing individual and group bereavement counselling, since 2000.
She obtained her Master of Education (Ed Psyc) from the U of R in 2003. She has taken advanced grief counselling training primarily through ADEC (Association for Death Education and Counselling).
She completed her basic EMDR training in 2018, became Certified EMDR therapist in May, 2021. EMDR therapy has become a large part of her clinical practice.
At this time her individual counselling services (covered by health care) are limited to palliative care families.
